Caroline Scade

 I qualified with a post-graduate diploma in person-centred counselling in 2008. I am now an accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP Accred.)
My counselling experience is varied. I have worked in an NHS counselling service, I was a school counsellor for a secondary school in Glasgow and now I work privately. I have experience working with male and female clients and children over 12.

I am also a registered nurse. Working as a nurse for over 20 years, I specialised in sexual health, sexuality issues, victims of sexual assault, HIV, worked closely with the LGBTQI community as well as clients who attended the homeless addiction service. Throughout the COVID pandemic I also worked in public health.

I am based in South Lanarkshire and can see clients in a confidential therapy rooms as well as online, using Zoom or telephone work.

Ethical practice & Qualifications

 

I follow the BACP’s Ethical Framework for good practice in counselling and psychotherapy. As part of their Professional Conduct Procedures, the BACP has a complaints procedure which anyone who is a client can access. Further details on the BACP can be obtained through their website: www.bacp.co.uk
